How do I play?
Pick a deck, add the people in the room with their names and pronouns, then tap Start. Tap the card to reveal it, tap again for the next one. Double-tap goes back. Tap outside the card to bring up the controls.
Do I need an account or sign-in?
No. unfurl has no accounts and no login. Open it and play.
Where are the names I enter stored? Is my data private?
Names, pronouns and saved cards live only on your device and are never sent to a server. You can clear everything in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How does the depth pacing work?
A session warms up, opens up, then goes deep on its own. Use the depth control to move faster or stay light, and choose a short or open-ended session length. An open-ended session never cuts off mid-conversation.
What's free, and what costs money?
Every deck includes a set of free cards. You can unlock a full deck with a one-time purchase, or get every deck at once with the one-time All Decks bundle. There are no subscriptions and no ads.
I paid but my cards are locked. How do I restore?
Open Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same App Store or Google Play account you bought with. If it still doesn't appear, email me and I'll help.
Are there any subscriptions?
No. unfurl only has one-time purchases: unlock a single deck, or unlock every deck with the All Decks bundle. Nothing renews or recurs, and the bundle includes any decks added in the future at no extra charge.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the app store, not by us. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use the Play Store order history. Email me if you'd like help.
Can I have the app read cards aloud?
Yes. Turn on read-aloud in Settings or Setup. It uses your device's built-in voice and never accesses your microphone.
I shared a card. Did it include people's names?
No. Shared card images strip names by default, so you can share the question without broadcasting who you were with.
How do I delete everything?
Settings has options to clear saved people, saved cards and preferences. Removing the app also removes all on-device data.
